Work in situ, 2010

Wednesday 22 May 2019

Took three pieces to Beaulieu last week and placed them in the rose garden. They looked really nice and will be even better when the roses are in full bloom. On the other hand knowing roses they may just hide them!

Willow II

Surprise, surprise.

Obelisk II

The exhibition opens this Saturday, the 25th May, and finishes on the 24th July.

Definitely worth a visit. There are lots to do and see at Beaulieu besides the sculpture exhibition. The venue is in Brockenhurst in the New Forest so the area is quite beautiful too.

Wednesday 1 May 2019

Two more exhibitions nearly underway. Took the following three pieces to Bordhill Garden Sculpture exhibition which starts on the 10th May until September 30th:

                                         Dispersal IV
                                                      Sounds
                                                      Feelings

Also took two pieces to The Garden Galley, Broughton Stockbridge. This exhibition starts on the 1st June until the 6th July:

                                                   Ochre Spill (bird bath)

                                         Two thrills.

Have also been working in my garden trying to bring it up to scratch. It is meant to enhance my pieces not hide them!  It is all very enjoyable.
Will return shortly with news of the next two exhibitions and perhaps some close up pictures of my garden.

Friday 5 April 2019

It is now 5th April and I have two exhibitions underway.
Appart Art Exhibition near Godalming is opening today. Private view tonight and the exhibition is on until the 21st April. Pieces to be shown 1. Still life for a small courtyard and 2. 'sweetie'.

I have also taken four pieces to Hannah Peschar's sculpture garden for exhibition until October.
A lovely setting.  Visit it if you can. 1. 'quiet foliage'. 2. 'gentle foliage'. 3. 'swept 1' and 4. 'swept 2'

Six more exhibitions to come if all goes well.

New workshop amazing. Should have done it years ago. Will put another pic on blog when foliage in place.
