I sold this piece to a client last month and she has very kindly sent me a photograph with the piece in situ.  A little touch of summer perhaps?  She tells me that it gives her a great deal of pleasure.  How very nice. The touch of summer and the sentiment.

The Bevere Gallery in Worcester is celebrating their 40th anniversary by putting on a summer show for July and August in collaboration with the Cornwall Craft Association in their gallery and gardens.
I took the three pieces that they chose for exhibition two or three weeks ago. The piece above is called 'Foliage III'. (Obviously running out of titles.)
This piece, photographed by some large foliage, is called 'Jolie".

The Bevere Gallery truly deserves a visit. It is in a lovely, very interesting setting and it displays some excellent beautifully made ceramics.  I hope their summer exhibition goes well.

The third piece I took is called 'Foliage I'. (no comment).

Beaulieu's annual sculpture exhibition is on at the moment until the 3rd of September.
I am exhibiting just one piece this year.
I have a fear that the piece will be entirely overgrown by newly grown grass by the end of the show.

I took a piece - 'Thrills II" to the 'Garden Gallery' in Broughton near Stockbridge.

The Garden Gallery's exhibition this year started on the 12th May.  Again a lovely venue.  A large cottage garden which still retains all its integrity and charm.  I have exhibited my work in this lovely garden now for many years and it continues to give me great pleasure to do so.
A little late recording the new season! Lots of things happening - mind in other places and not where it should be!
Took an appropriate piece to exhibit in Guildford Cathedral "The Obelisk".

A lovely venue.  The light transmitted into the cathedral is bright and clear but quite forgiving. The stillness and gentle sounds resound throughout the cathedral making one feel calm and a little melancholic. I tried to capture this unique ambiance but failed!  Never mind it was worth the try and I have the memory.

Now we have really got into the winter months I thought I would awaken thoughts of warm summer days and evenings sitting or just wandering in the garden. With that thought in mind may I introduce you to yet another client's beautiful garden and ever increasing collection of my work. It will lift your hearts to see such care and thought applied to a very small suburban plot of land. I feel privileged that my work is seen as an integral part of her creation.

Meet Sue in her garden (do visit her blog at sueinthegarden.blogspot.com. It is informative and full of the most beautiful images of her plants and fruit etc).

An overall view of her garden from her house with a 'ground piece' strategically placed (that means carefully).

Her favourite piece that has pride of place. It does harmonise into the environment rather well.

Her little terrace that is jam-packed with pieces of work, including a large bird bath and plants of every description.

View from the end of the garden showing a smaller bird bath on that warm summer evening perhaps nearing twilight - hence the glass of wine!

I thought I would include these lovely close ups of reflections depicting the integral qualities of water, plants and ceramics when sensitively placed in conjunctions with one another
