The annual sculpture exhibition started at Wisley the weekend before last. The weather has been quite dreadful since then but hopefully September may be an 'Indian Summer'. We can but hope!
The sculpture trail looks good as always with much variety in materials and ideas.
Sunday last I took three pieces to Savill Gardens. This is a photo of 'Quirky II'. Got very wet installing it!
Fortunately the rain had stopped but the gardens were very wet and dripping. All the better for that - they really are very beautiful, as you can see from some of the photographs I took.
The flowers are past their best but still unbelievably lovely.
It is an interesting sculpture trail. Not too many pieces but all very carefully and thoughtfully placed.
It is on for two months finishing at the end of October.
